South Bend Lifts Salt Lake Campaign Ad!?
Could two different ad agencies have such identical ad ideas?
Rarely have we seen such a blatant example of ad skimming as that of South Bend’s outright lifting of the Salt lake ad campaign! They did not even seem to try to hide their plagiarism as they used the same fonts, same design and even the headlines. There is actually one difference between the two ads, one says South bend and the other says Salt Lake! 🙂
How does something like this happen? There is a process to ad development. Didn’t anyone see this at the South Bend ad agency before sending it to production? It seems that someone saw the Salt Lake ad, thought it was really great, passed it on to the next guy and everyone got excited about just “
Rip It It Off…Curating It!”. The funny thing is that the tag line, which is “There is nothing to do in salt Lake”, does not work for South Bend as…there really is little or NOTHING to do in South Bend!

The big question still is, which ad is more effective? below are both ads and your chance to decide and vote (below videos.)
